Footwell Sub-Assembly, LH Side, Type 2

Second type Left Hand Side Footwell Sub-Assembly used on late Series 2 and early Series 2a models.

1960 to 1968 models.

Sub-assembly is supplied pre-assembled, and comprises:

  • Left Hand Footwell Plate.
  • Footwell Reinforcement Plate
  • Left Hand Side Panel
  • Captive 1/4" UNF Square Nuts and Cages for Floor Plate x 2

Dip switch mounts direct to surface of footwell plate, with wires exiting to the side.

Outer Side Panel is supplied loose for ease of fitting.

Unlike other vendors our footwell plates are laser cut, the ribs are formed using our own tooling and 80-ton Press Brake, before final precision CNC folding.

We do not flame cut or water jet cut our flat patterns, the finish is too crude. We also only use a precision CNC Press Brake, not a manual pan folder or sheet metal folder as the folds formed by these machines are not accurate enough for us.
